    Nursing courses:

Click on College of Health and Human Sciences.

Additional specific course information is found on the Registrar’s Home Page. Go to www.reg.tcu.edu and select Class Search – Any Term.

Contact the course instructor for additional specific course information.

Registration information:

Register using FrogNet Enrollment on the TCU Registrar’s Home Page, www.reg.tcu.edu Registration can be advance/early, regular/general, as well as late. Be aware that the time of registration impacts when a student can begin to access the course:

    Early registration:
Students who have advance-registered have access to the course beginning the first day of class for the term or session.

    General or late registration:
FrogNet registration is currently received only once every night at TCUglobal. Therefore, a student who registers just before, during, or after the first class day can expect that his/her access to the class will take a day or two to be established.

Contact the Registrar’s Office, registrar@tcu.edu if additional registration assistance is needed.

Access to on-line class:

To access the on-line courses, go to www.tcuglobal.edu site, the click on Login. Key in student TCU ID, key PIN in Password box, and then click Go to class. (The ID and PIN numbers are the same as those used to register on FrogNet.)

Technical assistance:

The help desk at the global center is helpdesk@tcuglobal.edu -- and -- help@tcu.edu is the TCU Information Systems Help Desk address.

Billing & payment for on-line courses:

Payment may be made by credit card; form is on http://www.con.tcu.edu/ccard.htm site.

Fall or Spring courses do not need to be paid at the time of registration. For these two terms, Financial Services will send a bill; if desired, payments may be made in four installments. Summer courses require the total amount paid within seven days of registration.

Textbooks:

To reserve/order/ship textbooks, go to http://www.bkstore.com/tcu/res1.html.

Until the bookstore gets their web form changed, here’s what to enter (type) in the boxes labeled “Department”, “Section”, and “Instructor”:
    (1) On the first line under “Department” enter “Ship to:”.
    (2) On the second line under “Department” enter the street address for delivery.
    (3) Under “Section”, enter the city.
    (4) Under “Instructor”, enter both the state AND the zip code.

Then on the third line start adding the course numbers, etc. in the designated boxes.

    Example:

For MLA courses, the “Department” is MALA, and the “Section” is 479

Important: Use the course number, not the class number that used to register on “FrogNet”. Course numbers are available from ClassSearch on FrogNet (for MLA courses, course numbers are also available on the MLA web site.)

If you need to reach the TCU Bookstore, the number is 1-800-842-frog. Ask for Lisa Lewis or David Yee.

Course load for MLA students:

Nine hours is considered full time at the graduate level. To request permission to enroll for more than 9 hours, e-mail Dr. Larry Adams, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs, l.adams@tcu.edu.
